Q. Can I get just the auditing service?

A. Yes, the audit is our Flagship product. We perform the audit at "no risk" to our clients. If we do not find billing errors and recover the overcharges or if we do not find you savings through our negotiation process, our clients do not get charges.

Q. How much can you save me on my communications?

A. Typically 20% to 40% reduction is realized.  However, a savings of 50% or greater is not uncommonon depending on the complexity of the application, the audit and negotiations.

Q. How long will it take to perform an audit?

A. It depends on the size of the account. Some audits can take just a day. However, the more complex applications can take up to 30 days.

Q. How comprehensive is the audit?

A. Our audits are very comprehensive and go through a "Quality Control Process." We go so far as to interview vendors, carrier and location contacts. Services are verified, outlined and reported and recommendations are made.

Q. Can you negotiate rates with current and alternative carriers?

A. We can negotiate rates with multiple carriers, carriers that are requested, and/or your current carrier, to bring you the best options available. A standard "Request For Proposal" is sent to all of the carriers. Responses are filtered based on the customer needs and the final options are submitted in the final report.

Q. Will I be required to sign a term agreement?

A. There is no term agreement with Business Telecom Advocates. unless you select our managed communication service. Carriers will require term agreements for their service.

Q. What happens if you find billing mistakes?

A. BTA will go after the recovery of overcharges for you.  In many cases billing mistakes can be retroactive. We will act as your advocate to the telecom or cellular companies in retrieving credits and correcting billing errors.

Q. What happens at the end of the term agreement with the service provider?

A. Business Telecom Advocates will perform an "End of Term" audit and renegotiate the best terms and conditions for the client or we can change you to a carrier that provides a better service and/or price.
